What FunderFit is

FunderFit generates one-time funder research reports. You describe your organization and project; we produce a report matching you to grant funders (private foundations, federal programs, and research funders) using public data sources, delivered as a PDF and a private web link.

What you're buying

Each purchase is a single, one-time report — no subscription, no recurring charge, no account. Your report link remains available for 30 days after delivery; the emailed PDF is yours to keep. Prices are shown at checkout and processed by Stripe; we never see or store your payment details.

The honest limits of the product

  • Matches are suggestions, not guarantees. Reports are research aids built from public records. Inclusion of a funder does not mean you are eligible, invited, or likely to be funded — funding decisions belong entirely to funders.
  • Data is as fresh as its public sources. Federal opportunity data updates daily; foundation filing data typically reflects activity one to two years back, which is inherent to IRS public disclosure timelines. Every brief states its source vintage.
  • Verify before you act. Always confirm deadlines, eligibility, and application procedures directly with the funder before applying.
  • Not professional advice. Nothing in a report or on this site is legal, financial, tax, or professional advice.

Refunds

If your report contains zero plausible matches for your work, reply to your receipt email within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. Refunds are not offered merely because an application to a listed funder was unsuccessful.

Acceptable use

Reports are licensed for use by the purchasing organization. Don't resell reports, misrepresent them as endorsements by any funder or government agency, or use the service to generate reports for resale without our written agreement.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FunderFit's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Data sources and attribution

This product uses the Grants.gov API but is not endorsed or certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Foundation data derives from IRS public-disclosure filings; federal award data from USAspending.gov; research funding data from NIH RePORTER and NSF; funder identifiers from ROR.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version at time of your purchase governs that purchase. Questions: support@funderfit.co.
